I have a stubby antenna I used on my W124. Once you take out your auto antenna and all its components it plugs into your antenna wire and ground.
I Know for a fact it fits in the W124 antenna hole seamlessly, it has the inner seal and outer cover. It looks pretty cool installed
I replaced my auto antenna with it before my crash. My original MB antenna died completely on me and I didn't want to buy a new one.
Radio reception reduced about 20%, really didn't notice a difference in NYC boroughs. It was great to be able to listen to my aftermrkt stereo in the sleet and snow without worrying about a stuck antenna.
