Resistor on blower motor melted ?

Maybe the blower motor 3 speed switch is okay, and the problem could be the resistor was overloaded by me putting a little bigger fuse in there? Has anyone heard of this ? Do I have to buy a whole new blower motor because the resistor is part of the motor? or can I just replace the resistor? I know that the previous owner had the blower motor and 3 speed switch replaced a few years ago. I have the recipts for them . Man its rough without air cond. in 95 degrees , Did anyone else hear of a 30 amp repair kit for the blower fuse that they sell? Its easier to work on blower motor than that stinking switch. Keep in mind my blower motor works because I ran jumper wires to it to test it , as I explained in my previous post. This is confusing. Thanks for any replies. Stay cool Hans.
