I just had mine replaced on the 85 300D. Driveline shop sent it out to a machine shop to cut out the stakes. then the DL Shop replaced the U-Joint with a greaseable one. then made sure it was balanced. they also replaced the center bearing and rubber support. $265

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
