Called around to a bunch of shops today. Not one MB shop had R12. They were more than willing to switch me over though
Ended up finding it at Jiffy Lube of all places. They filled her up and now I am blowing nice cold air! Only issue is that fan will not come on at all. I have found a work around. If I put the defrost on for maybe 5 seconds and then switch over to AC vent and floor and get nice cold air. The flow could be better though. Anyone know what why I have to do the defrost sequence above first to get the AC moving? Also, what would be the 1st step in increasing the flow of air? Seems like more than enough coming to the floor vents, but the two outside vents could use some more.
Thanks in advance! Nice to have some cool air on a 98F day, thanks for all the input. Even to the guy who sent me the pdf of what each button does.
