Only bigger water is on the Missouri River from Lewis & Clark Reservoir in the SE corner of SD to Lake Oahe which starts in the middle of the state at Pierre and runs North clear to the ND border & beyond. BUT---that's it. I need to be on the East coast where I came from early on---BEFORE I discovered boats. The Missouri run is described well in the book, "River Horse" by William Least Heat Moon of "The Blue Highways" fame. Very interesting read. I should do it again.
