Hi Motorheads

I just saw an ad about Bridgestone run-flat capability on all their low profile tyres (-60 and lower). Is this something they have engineered into their product or is this one of the advantages of a lower profile tyre anyway regardless of whether it is Bridgstone or Pirelli or whatever. By the way the ad may have been done by a company selling the Bridgestone product and not by Bridgestone directly.
