Climate Control question
I think there is something wrong with my climate control system of my W124 but am not sure. It appears that the only temperature guage that the system uses to manage the A/C output is the external reading. If the outside temp. is 90 degrees and the internal temp is comfortable (say 72 by feel) then the A/C will blow strong unless I run the setting up to the white/red area (about 82).
Is this normal? One would think that there would be an internal sensor that would allow me to leave the setting on 72 and the A/C would back off when the cabin became comfortable?
Any thoughts?
