Actually it is real easy to get the part number for one. Think outside the box, for a minute here:


Go to the junkyards and look at W124 models' engine compartments, until you see an intact one on a wreck.

I'd expect to find one on the radiator bracket for the W124. I copied the part number off the sticker, when I found one (speaking on a W126) .

Then went to the Merceds Benz dealer, and ordered a brand new one.


Took about a week for them to get it to me.


Cost around $6 or $7 or so, a couple of years ago, as I remember.
