I don't see how it can be bye-bye to any free application out there?
I use almost every day yahoo messenger for the last 5 years and it is fantastic. OK I can't call a phone number for free but today anyone owns a laptop or PC, so as long as you have yahoo messenger you can talk and see anyone on your contact list for free. Just few hours ago I have spoken for almost 2 hours with some friends across the pond with no interruption, clear image from my camera and excellent voice quality. It is almost like someone seating across the table from you.
