Adapter for boost controller

Hi,

Used to have a Dawes boost controller on my 83. I recently bought a 3bar racing (same company) controller - looks the same. Problem is, on a 617, the wastegate hose is what? 3/8 ID, but the nipple on the boost controller is maybe 1/8... So poor fit.

I found some tubing that makes a good bushing, and on the straight end it is great... On the other end 90o even with this bushing I can't get a great connection/fit. I tighten down as much as I can, but I don't think the hose clamp has enough overlap over the nipple.

Any suggestion on how to fix and make these two work?

BTW, without the controller, my 82 was only putting out 9.2 psi max. With the controller I can get that optimum 10.75, and slightly faster spool time...
