Repeatedly Blowing No. 8 Fuse

1985 Mercedes 300 CD

Not sure if this Post should go here in Diesel, or elsewhere in Tech?

After working well all summer, today my AC began blowing hot air. I checked the fusebox legend and it said the Blower Motor and AC Compressor is No. 8 fuse (By the way, the Blower Motor continues to blow (hot) air just fine)

I checked to find No. 8 fuse (blue, 25 Amp) discolored, so I replaced it with a new fuse. In short order, that fuse blew as well.

I know to check to wires to the clutch on the AC compressor. I guess it could be a faulty, shorting, button in the Climate Control module?

Any other suggestions of places to look would be greatly appreciated
