I can measure the manual trans easy enough as it is on the garage floor but getting an accurate measurement on the auto while its in the car is really difficult.
I guess I should ask if anyone out there has an auto sitting their garage floor they could measure bell housing to flex disc mounting flange?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Assuming you're not going to get the shaft built tonight, I've got a shaft out of an 86 300E with a 5 speed manual in my stash, if you can wait until tomorrow or Sunday I can measure that forward section and let you know what it is! What tranny are you using 717.411? 717.431?
