I feel the same way when I go to the junkyard.. I want to take the whole car...hahaha... I picked a blower motor for my 93 300E for $20..at a pull a part. My mechanic had quoted me $270 for the blower motor through worldpac..WOW!! I think I saved over $500 by doing this job myself and reviewing the DIY on 124 blower motor removal.. also picked up a used servo unit for $5, off an 80 300SD 116 , great condition.. and not to mention my ac work over the summer with picking Ac hoses for my 77 300D with the swapped 81 engine. I owe alot to VSTECH, for all the help on that one, he is definitley the MAN when it comes to HVAC work.....
