Hey Haasman! It's me again. To go to the right speaker it's easier to gain access to it by removing the glove compartment. To get to the left speaker, you have to remove the instrument cluster.

To remove the climate control unit, first pull out the two center vent louvers with a pair of long nosed pliers. Remove the two phillips head screws on the floor of the vent housing. These screws secures the center console. The center console can now be pulled down just a bit for you to pop out the wood trimming around the blower switch. But before that, pull out the blower switch knob. The blower switch will "not" come out with the wooden trimming. With this panel out, you can see metal tabs with a small hole in the middle on both sides on the upper portion of the control unit. With a two thin screwdrivers inserted through these small holes, pry the two tabs upward at the same time and pull the climate control unit out wooden trimming and all. If you have to remove the harness from the control unit, be sure to return the harness with the red band on the left side.

You might as well check the bulbs on the blower switch and the push button control unit while you have everything apart.

Have fun and have a great weekend!
