M.B. Doc and other 16V owners, cheap lower chamber testing adapter.

I found a cheap line to adapt to the lower chamber fitting on my 16V. Space is EXTREMELY limited.

M.B. Doc stated that he has been using a custom 90 degree fitting on the end of the factory adapter after loosening the fuel distributor to get it on. Sounded like too much work so I stopped by Pick a Part this am to find/modify something to work.

Turns out that the braided injector lines off of an Audi or watercooled VW were just the ticket. Make sure you get the banjo bolt and washers that screw into the fuel distributor. They will thread right into the lower chamber test port. You will need an adapter to mate the injector end to your CIS tester, but mine came with one that worked. Cost me $2.99 plus tax. Got to love the OCCASIONAL cheap fix.
