I don't know whether my battery should be replaced or not. I got it new just last spring and the one it was replacing was still under warranty so I just had to pay like $25 for it since I got a bigger one. I have since replaced the alternator so I don't know if they will replace this one too under warranty. Charmalu's idea sounds good too. And in the spirit of the original thread (means to warm up the engine under cold temps), a heated garage sounds to me like the best, albeit most expensive option I don't know if I'd try the hair blower... :/
