I just love modern vehicles...so many things can go wrong. 1) The heater function in the 85 seems not to work...well, sometimes, but intermittantly...when not driving, it blows warm air BUT most vigorously from the outside vents (nearest the doors). Hardly any air comes out of the ones in the center of the dash. 2) It seems to make no difference whatsoever in the temperature of the air coming from the vents, where the little blue/red temp selector wheel is positioned. 3) the blower won't come on consistantly when the fan speed setting is on automatic. I can however, coax it to life by selecting defrost - THEN selecting one of the other circulation settings (there are five including OFF)It seems to work properly then. 4) are the heating controls vacuum actuated? I am still searching for an accursed vacuum leak! It whistles like an artillery simulator.
