First you have to remove the side rails. There are 4 or 5 phillips head screws retaining the side rails, remove them and left the rails. Next you have to carefully pry up the retraction arms where they attach to the roof, very little pressure needed, once loose from the roof they simply slip off the deflector.
Now you can gently pry out the deflector from it's snap hinges. Start at the right side I think, then pop the left out. The center bearing will come out with the deflector. It is mounted to a small pad which will slip back in the recess upon reassembly.
Much harder to describe than to actually do. If you have difficulty figuring out how to mount the new springs and supports, give a shout.
