Swinging door...

I have a gap between the weatherstripping on my driver's side door frame and the car body (the A pillar? NOT the one with the door hinge, but the latch side). I installed new weatherstripping on both front doors a month or two ago, and I'm pretty sure this is not the cause. Additionally, the driver's side door is more difficult to close and based on some slight paint flaking on the hinge nuts, looks like it's been adjusted in the past. I fiddled with the door hinges trying to adjust out the tension that necessitates a good slam to close the door and engage the lock. Still no improvement. Can anyone recommend a means of fixing this, short of visiting a trim shop?

Thanks to all,

Joel
