NC is very progressive and frankly a model for the rest of the nation. Piedmont Biofuels is a leader/trailblazer in NC. Oregon and Washington State are really progressive also. But aside from the handful who embrace it, the fact is most states look at biodiesel and biodiesel production on the same par as toxic chemical processing (which is a joke when you consider the inputs...I digress). Back to my original belief, 90+% are never going to accept anything that is contrary to their known way of life as being valid. However I betcha once D1/D2 gets to $5 a gallon you'll start to see a lot of converts! :-)
