This is exactly happening to my car now, 93 300E (M104 3.2) which should be same set up as yours. need to remove the serpentine belt by 2 bolts at tensioner ( 6 mm allen type and 13 mm ), if you have later tensioner (self adjust) just turn clockwise by wrench . Then remove the fan clutch ( I use strap wrench to hold the clutch). The bearing is now can come off ( by remove a few bolts).
I saw 2 brands for my car
1. URO part for $79
2. Febi for @ $208
Lots of people said stay away from URO part but the price is very big different. I see if I can just change the bearing not the whole bracket. If anybody has ideae, pleas feel free. (sorry, hope this is not hi jack )
