I have looked at all the DIY stuff on climate control ,but there is nothing specific on the blower motor regulator/resistor. How do you know if it is bad? I took everything apart lubed the motor bearings spins ok now. But the fan only works in high no auto no low. The fan bearings got squeekie a few weeks ago and I did detect a faint smell of an electrical burning,which eventually went away. To get it to work in auto or low back then you would have to start off in high and work your way down to auto or low. Then it failed altogether.I thought this was due to the motor bearings having a high turning resistance ,but I have since corrected this problem and the fan turns ok now just no auto or low setting??? bad regulator or shoud I get to soldering the ccu joints??
