i know this may sound crazy....but i once had to replace one....and my rebuilt came with a slight crack on the casing.
i got some epoxy and put it there.... hard to believe , but it solved the problem.
i pulled the original bad compressor myself, without a lift.... it just seems like you need an assortment of extensions and universal..
i wiggled it out from underneath...and got a new one in...
try the epoxy first... i did it...even though the company sent another compressor to me gratis.... it's still on my shelf
