G'day Folks,

I'm looking for a good picture of an original W123 door mirror - I want to know what sort of black the frame of the mirror is meant to have...



Mine is chipped and possibly faded to a dull matt black. I'm asking myself if it was ever a bit more of a satin finish - so slightly shiny - or was it always just a dull matt black?

Can anyone help?
