Thanks for the comments on the glow plugs on an 85190d2.2
I took off the air intake to get to them and WOW...it was a lot more than four bolts...more like 20 and half of them really hard to maneuver. (a little exagerated)

One of the glow plugs was striped but nothing a 12 mm boxed end wrench couldn't take care of. I replaced them all and coated the threads w/ anti seize...

I'm soaking the intake manifold over night to clean in the morning and put (hopefully) everything back together...

I feel like a total diesel mechanic....grrrrr...covered in oil..I could see the valves and they looked pretty dirty...any recommendations...yelrah wish me luck!
