Your PCV setup is different ... if it goes directly to each runner and thence to each cylinder, it probably won't build up as bad as mine, so you should leave 'em like they are ... did not sound like yours was all that bad.
If I were to clean all mine intake manifold, crossover and fittings, the gunk would likely weigh 1/2 pound.
How is Gainesville ... went to school there once upon a time?
