Quite frankly, after the JB weld application, the "housing" looks like it was made that way.

My dad said his buddy repaired a hole in the cylinder wall of an outboard engine a few years ago and the engine still runs like a top.

Pretty cool and bullet proof stuff. FYI, I got it at Walmart.

How have the races been at Haubstat. Man, I miss sprint car racing in this horrible state of NJ.
