I replaced the L/R door check in my 80 240D, and it was the older style. first one I had ever seen. maybe something left over from WWII

I replaced it with the newer style check, and it fit right in.

Older style looks like a piece of cast iron compared to the newer style, a piece of stamped sheet metal.

Probably cheaper to manufacture.

The part# my older style has cast in it is, 123 730 00 16. there is one other # K.Au. 2921 and a name FRIEFI stamped into the flats upper and lower from the 123#.

Looking in Fastlane they show the older style, but it is listed for the rear doors part# W0133-1617899. from 000000 - 258174.
How many do you want? they are listed for $104.86

They show the newer style for the rear doors from 258175 but not in stock, and no price.

Iam going to PNP today, 50% off this weekend. there is a 79 280E Iam pulling the old style blue door actuators out of, I`ll see what type checks they used on it.
Also a 77 300D that has a new front door check I want. I`ll see what they installed in the other doors also.
