It really depends on the light. I've got a set of Hellas that require some sort of wiring adapter. I don't have the information on how to do it and everything I try just blows fuses.

I have just recently picked up a set of Cibies that don't require any adapter and they plug in just like the sealed beams.

I would recommend looking at the backside, or at least seeing a picture of it.
