I can't say for everything but as a rule vacuum is generally hooked up to the central pipe on the bottom of a switch over valve. So if you have three ports it will be the middle one. If you have two ports it will be the one in the center of the valve.
Sometimes ports on the top of the valve are left open and are not hooked up to anything.
