Works for me... but then I live in Portland. Our Seattle brethren may sit this one out, though. I know that last year the group did Mt St Helens; there is another park with a St Helens view just a bit north of there, called
Seaquest State Park. It also has nice views of the area.
Alternatively, we could stick with Silver Falls for the Oregon folk, and have our northern neighbors suggest a GTG somewhere in the San Juans... can't you just see the line up of vintage MB's at the ferry dock?! Maybe we should just ping-pong it year by year: one year Oregon, next year Washington.
