NEED A LITTLE GUIDANCE TO FIND MY LEAK-
MY 1984 300D has a leak somewhere between the connector under the mat on the passenger side and the fuel door or trunk. my doors operate properly when I disconnect the yellow tube with red line that goes back to the fuel door and trunk and plug the connector under the front passenger mat. i had a good T/S guide but the wrong diagram. the diagram showed only the green line going to the fuel door. my car has both (red/green). I figured my fuel door mechanism was bad but when I plugged both lines the system still leaked. I tried the same with the trunk but also leaked. my guess is a damged yellow/red line under my rear seat?? are there any more connectors between the front mat and the fuel door or a likely place where it could have been dameged?
