My "Wild Thing" really worked hard for me for 10 years and it finally just wouldn't start anymore (compression most likely). I already had about 20 chains ( some guy was selling them for $4) and I bought what I thought was a new model of the same "Wild Thing"- but they switched the chain gauge on me rendering my collection useless. That Poulan didn't last- then I bought a Homelite and that didn't work well.

Finally, I found a guy who swapped me two classic 2375 "Wild Things" for my Homelite and a bunch of other junky chainsaws so now I can finally use all my NOS chains
That's the type of info I was looking for.
Maybe next week I'll tear into it, I've been neglecting a couple of other major projects and some of the regular stuff for a few day.
AND my back needs a rest.

I want to get away from firewood and the chain saw for a few days, been moving, stacking, cutting for the last 3 days.
There's a pic attached, most of that circle is 2 rows deep.
You can see all the fresh wood, nice Maple, I figure we are set for years, although as much as we use the fireplace, 3 years max so far. And I'll still get a face of Oak from my firewood guy each year.
This was mostly a neighbors tree that came down, landscapers cut it up, I moved it and stacked it. Some was from the remains of a tree of mine I had to take down.

Yes I've been very happy with this saw.
