Hello,

I've got at beautiful 1974 240D with a bad transmission (slips out of gear under load). I was wondering if these are pretty interchangeable? Could i, for instance, grab one out of any 70's 240D or 300D and not have to worry about bolt pattern, drive-shaft length, etc?
