Final install...

Extreme temps caused a few "brownouts" at home, but most of it occurred in daylight, so I could continue working.

Taped the entire template wirh chrome duct tape and installed the LEDs. They came with 3M backing, so install was a snap!



Also fabricated the connector to allow removal when necessary. Chrome convoluted wire loom was laying around from another project so I opted to use it. Note: Chrome coating flakes off incessantly, so I would not recommend purchasing the chrome looms!



Wanted LEDs to illuminate when the sound system came on, so I tapped into the amps turn-on lead for power and the ground lead. THe LED harness is pretty thin so it might not be evident in the pic:
