I can't imagine getting 34 MPG in a 300D - normally aspirated or turbocharged - UNLESS, it was at a very steady state 50 MPH ... while anything is possible, for the weight of the car, the RPM required to maintain speed, etc ... not to mention the likelihood of stopping, going up hills, etc ... 30+ is just not likely.

Not trying to start and argument, but my experience and that of many, many others would appear to push back on this data point.
