This was the first day I felt well enough to sit upright and work on the PC. Had the operation on Monday.
Used the time in bed to relax and reflect on my life...decided I was pretty happy with my family and career...and yes, MBs.
Pain medicine wasn't working very well the first two days, so I was really hurting. Got prescribed some more potent stuff, and I feel much better!
My wife has been a real angel through all of this...I love her so much!
Couldn't occupy my time with the myriad of projects in the house, so I got to spend lots of quality time with my daughter...almost forgot how much fun she is!
Some of us take the time to stop and smell the roses...others, like me have to be forced into incapacitation to do so.
Thanks to all for your support, and for those of you who went through the same kind of surgery, you were quite accurate in describing what to expect.
I'll be back to my usual posting rate by next week...
