I have a 1985 300D KaliKar with the ACC II climate control unit. Suddenly the temperature control aspect of the unit seems to not be working. I get heat all of the time.
When I first got the car I never got heat; I found a torn monovalue diaphragm and replaced the core; all was working for a while; heat, A/C, vent, all OK.
Now no matter what I select I only get heat. The fan speed seems to work and the direction of air (which vents are utilized) seems to work. But only heat. I'm in Houston; 34 days of 100+ so far
. I don't need no heat.
I have removed the ACC II unit, torn it apart, looked for any broken solder, re-soldered the connections just to be sure and still the same result.
Is there a test procedure for these units, or am I looking in the wrong place?
