Because of the new Grand Prix race in Baltimore over Labor Day weekend, the City has "requested" that we do not work on city streets from 3 PM today until 9am Sept 6. I have 233+ hours of leave already earned. I can only carry over 120 into next year. I told him, if there was something important that actually helped the job, or if there was some training classes I needed to attend, I would certainly work as much as needed. However, if he was simply making work available, I could better use the time at my house.
