220D Tensioner valve ball bearing launched
Hello, while replacing timing chain on my '72 220D, I undid the large 22mil bolt and removed the timing chain tensioner actuator. Unfortunately, the spring launched the check tiny ball bearing inside of the check valve into oblivion. Short of replacing the entire tensioner actuator, I was wondering if I can just replace the missing ball bearing and if so, does anyone know what size it is ? Also, I cant seem to find a diagram of the assembly order of the valve / actuator. I have a general idea of how it goes back together but don't want to risk the integrity of my timing chain and engine for that matter !
Thanks.
