Any oil leaks?
With the engine running, get under the car with a flash light and a rag.
Clean the oil of the oil filter canister all the way aruond the top.
Observe for leaks.
To remove the oil filter canister, loosen the 17 mm bolt on the bottom.
Some oil will come out.
Remove the O ring and inspect it for damage.
Inspect the lip on the can, where the o ring sits for any damage or bends.
Also check the aluminum oil filter head on the block, in the area where the O ring contacts it.
If every thing looks allright, install the can with a new O ring.
Don't tighten the 17 mm bolt until you have checked that the can is seated correctly in the oil filter head.
Use your flash light to see that the can contacts the head evenly all around.
My challenge is I don't have a lift or the ability to get under the car, so can a Speedee Oil Change do this change for me?
