I know of at least one person with whom I'd take that risk. In a heartbeat. Tomorrow if we both agreed on it. Hell, if I could trade places with her and give her 15 years of my life, I'd do so in a second.

I could be hit by a bus tomorrow, so why worry about "maybes" 20-30 years from now? Plus I know of quite a few spouses who outlived their counterpart by 20+ years and were in good shape longer.

My grandma married a guy 10 years younger who got himself killed fighting for the resistance during WW II. She them married another younger man (15 years) who died of lung cancer 20 years ago, and she's still alive and well. Long family tradition here
