Good plugs is a must...

With them, the car should start before even finishing one full turn over... On that white 85 300D I have I tossed on a new set and it went from crank crank crank to starting as soon as I hit the key. Too bad I messed with the timing and cracked the cam in 3 places...

Oh, and don't mess with your timing chain and move it 90 then hit the key...
