i dont understand why this topic always ends up in people calling others stupid ignorant and so on. its an alternative fuel topic. i am running 50/50 wmo/diesel. have for 10,000 miles. my oil settles and gets pumped from the top. double filtered through 1 micron filters. i have $30 in filters including the buying the initial filter units. i still have 2 extra cartridges. at $3.75 a gallon diesel...that means it cost me 1.87 for diesel. say for giggles 25 mpg thats 400 gallons of fuel total 200 ($750) of that is diesel the other wmo. that means i saved $750 in fuel minus the filters= $720. i currently have $500 in the car to it has payed for itself and is paying me now...$220...this car has 256,000 miles on it. current scrap price is 250 a ton, the car weighs about 3000 to 3500 lbs so it scraps for over $300. i have seen no performance changes, it doesnt smoke, no problems whatsoever. i am going to continue until it dies. its a great looking car with no rust or any other issues. i can part it out then scrap whats left. for me its win win. the moral of my long post is its not for everyone but it works for others. dont belittle anyone just because you dont wanna do it. lets learn how to make this work. as for me...im takin this car to the bank. thank you.
