Well folks, I suspected right. It must have been backpressure because my current MPG calculation after the artefact one, came up short at 14.2 MPG. So that means the tank did not fill up even though all things made it seem so. This has never happened
before.

Normally I average about 19MPG in city and up to 25MPG
all freeway.
