I agree. My parents did NOT want me to go to college until I had a couple years to live life. I ended up getting some technical schooling, but thats all. I have no debt and I enjoy most things in my life. In short I am happy.

Then you have half of my friends that went to college, got a master and what not. They are in major debt, are not in their schooled field of choice and generally seem unhappy, especially since they were already living beyond their means and then decided to pop out two or more kids.
