I just asked my dealer after changing the oil what brand they use (Vavoline 20w50). Do all MB dealers all use the same brand? It would seem to me that MB would specify a particular brand for all MB maintenance.

Just asking as I wondered if they (dealer) just purchased from the local source with the best price.

BTW, my dealer charges 29 and change for an oil change and filter.
