We were told by the GOP that giving the rich fat tax cuts would mean the economy would grow and that there would be jobs for everyone. Well, how did all that work out? The truth is, one segment of our society benefits more from our democratic systems, our roads and other governmental infrastructure, the education of our work force and yet they think that everyone else should pay for it, and not they, the one's who benefit the most. It is mind-numbingly illogical. In order for America to keep a strong Middle Class, we need tax revenue to provide free education to those who merit it so we can compete against those countries who currently do exactly that, producing engineers and scientists, while we produce hamburger flippers who think the Earth is 6,000 years old. We need a Middle Class that does not face the specter of being ruined by corrupt speculators and bankers, and enormous health care costs. Instead, we have essentially become a country governed by Wall Street, under a system of legalized bribery called "campaign finance". Attend your local "Occupy" protest, it's time to act!

Hmmm...... So the top 2.5% are now providing 40% of the tax revenue. How is it that you see this to be unfair?

Why is it that THEY should cough up more, so that others can have what you call "free" education? Is this not redistribution of wealth?
