Thanks for posting the follow-up! It was a pleasure to meet, greet, and drive with all of you lucky owners.

It was a great day and thank you all again for showing and expecially to Neil to drive up from Santa Barbara!

A big thanks to Scott for giving us a test ride in his Renn 500e (at the end of the day) and to Neil whom let me test drive his 500e w/ chip, ASR defeat, 1st gear start, and Bergwerks deluxe reprogrammed shifting-security mods. I returned the favor and gave Scott and Neil and subdued test ride in my E500.

My car has been sitting in the garage for the past 4 weeks since my OEM wheels are receiving a re-chroming treatment in Los Angeles. The interim wheels are an beat up set of 500SL bundt cake wheels wrapped in 75% worn W-rated Euro Spec P6000 Summers (they suck compared to S-03's btw).

I may have her back looking much more normal in a week or so as TomE500 was kind enough to sell me his old painted OEM 16's (shipped today from back East) Thanks again Tom for the extra effort to ship them to CA!

I stole the moment yesterday morning to take the E500 out for a quick spin to circulate fluids/ lube her mechanicals again....Like old faithful she fired right up and we shared another inspiring session....finally forced her to point in the direction of home only 2 hours later!!!
