Like a Toyota, VW quality s hot or miss. I did have an 88 Fox for a while. Fun little 5 speed that never had an issue, until it refused to start. Then I tossed it.

My mother has a Beetle. She still has is but refuses to drive it. It was so bad she bought a Lexus SUV. Which has a ton of issues. The beetle never had any issue, it was just a crap car for her.

And dont get me started on the Prius....

Like the cockroach, larger numbers do not denote superiority.
